We are recruiting for the following position(s):

Manager, Health, Safety & Environment

ABOUT THE JOB:

We're looking for an experienced Manager, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) to lead and continuously improve our safety programs across engineering, fabrication, and electrical construction operations.

Reporting directly to the President(s), you'll provide strategic leadership for our Health, Safety & Environmental Management System (HSEMS), ensuring regulatory compliance while building a proactive safety culture that protects our people, clients, contractors, and the environment. This role partners closely with project managers, field leaders, and executive leadership to integrate safety into every stage of project delivery.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• o   Develop and execute the company's HSE strategy, policies, and safety initiatives.

  o   Lead and continuously improve the Health, Safety & Environmental Management System (HSEMS).

  o   Ensure compliance with provincial, federal, and client-specific safety requirements.

  o   Oversee hazard assessments, incident investigations, corrective actions, and safety audits.

  o   Lead COR certification activities and regulatory compliance programs.

  o   Establish and monitor HSE KPIs, budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  o   Mentor and develop safety personnel while supporting leadership development across operations.

  o   Partner with project teams and clients to ensure safe project execution from planning through completion.

YOU HAVE:

• o   5+ years of progressive HSE leadership experience in industrial construction, engineering, energy, or oil & gas.

  o   Strong knowledge of Canadian occupational health and safety legislation and industry standards.

  o   Experience leading safety programs, audits, incident investigations, and risk management initiatives.

  o   Experience with COR programs, HSE management systems, and safety reporting tools.

  o   Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.

  o   CRSP designation (or equivalent) is considered a strong asset.

  o   Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  o   Ability to travel to project sites as required (approximately 10%).
