We are recruiting for the following position(s):

Junior EI&C Technologist

ABOUT THE JOB:

The Junior Electrical Technologist supports the electrical and instrumentation design team by preparing engineering drawings, performing basic design tasks, and assisting in the delivery of project documentation. This position is ideal for a recent graduate of an Electrical Engineering Technology program looking to build hands-on experience in industrial and commercial projects. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

• Develop drawing packages including: single line diagrams, lighting and power layouts, cable schedules, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, grounding layouts, and panel layouts. 

• Support the development of IFC and As-Built drawing sets. 

• Assist with documentation for QA/QC and drawing reviews. 

• Work closely with designers, engineers, and project managers to deliver quality work on time and on budget. 

• Ensure drawing packages meet drafting and industry standards. 

• Adapt to project-specific requirements and address design revisions as needed. 

YOU HAVE:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology (or similar technical program). 

• 0–2 years of related experience in electrical drafting or design. 

• Proficiency with AutoCAD (AutoCAD Electrical is an asset). 

• Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Code and electrical drafting standards. 

• A detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills. 

• Effective communication and collaboration abilities. 

• Basic understanding of PLC systems and industrial instrumentation is an asset.
