About the job:

This position is responsible for creating accurate and detailed cost estimates for a variety of industrial projects, including construction and maintenance within sectors such as oil and gas, power generation, and heavy industry. This role ensures that projects are competitively priced, resource-efficient, and aligned with client requirements and company goals.

What you’ll do:

• Analyze project documentation, such as blueprints, specifications, and proposals, to determine the scope of work and cost parameters.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Ensure estimates align with company policies, industry standards, and client expectations.
• Present bid packages and support the negotiation of project contracts with stakeholders.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering options.
• Track industry trends, pricing, and regulations that may affect project costs.
• Develop preliminary schedules, identifying critical milestones and key deliverables.
• Assess potential project risks and include contingencies in the cost estimate.

You are:

• Proficiency in estimation tools and software.
• Experience with Accubid
• Strong understanding of industrial processes, codes, and standards.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial estimation or a related field.
• Proven track record of preparing competitive bids for industrial projects.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning in industrial environments.
