About the job: The Accounting Clerk supports the Business Services department by performing various accounting and clerical tasks. They are responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial record-keeping, assisting with financial transactions, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work well both independently and as part of a team.
What you’ll do:

Process account receivable analysis, submission of Invoices and providing customer statements.

Process and properly code account payable invoices, expense reports, and other supporting documents accurately and in a timely manner.

Verifying the accuracy of billing data and correcting any errors.

Verify and post recurring and non-recurring transactions to appropriate accounts and journals.

Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.

Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.

Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide necessary documentation to auditors.

Maintain confidentiality of financial information and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Assist in ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
You are:

Able to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
