Position: Accounting Clerk
Wage: $45,300.00-$55,600.00

About the job: The Accounting Clerk supports the Business Services department by performing various accounting and clerical tasks. They are responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial record-keeping, assisting with financial transactions, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work well both independently and as part of a team.
What you’ll do:
  • Process account receivable analysis, submission of Invoices and providing customer statements.
  • Process and properly code account payable invoices, expense reports, and other supporting documents accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Verifying the accuracy of billing data and correcting any errors.
  • Verify and post recurring and non-recurring transactions to appropriate accounts and journals.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
You are:
  • Able to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
